Decadence without the Dishes - One-Pot Farfalle is perfect for busy weeknights, or when company calls
If you are anything like me, you hate doing dishes and you are always doing dishes. Sometimes I wonder why I cook as much as I do since I know I will need to clean up after myself.
Recently we spent six weeks without a dishwasher. We are a family of four. Two of those family members are children who seem to think that they need fresh plates/bowls/cups etc for every one of their ten daily snacks (more on that in another post but I think I may have figured out how to curb the constant summertime snacking! But I digress...). I felt like every time I entered the kitchen I had to wash dishes, and cooking went from joyful to dreadful. And so, born from necessity, I began trying to make meals which required fewer dishes. This one was the most popular by far. You can do it with one cutting board, one knife, one measuring cup, one wooden spoon, and a skillet. And it's tasty enough to serve to company. Enough said.
